Xiaomi is ready to launch its much-awaited Redmi Note 14 series in India on December 9. The lineup, which includes the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+, promises advanced features and has already created significant excitement among tech enthusiasts.
The devices were first introduced in China in September, and the Indian versions are expected to closely resemble their Chinese counterparts, with minor adjustments tailored to the local market.
Amazon Confirms Redmi Note 14 5G Availability Ahead of the official launch, Amazon India has confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 5G will be available on its platform. The product listing reveals a design consistent with the Chinese variant and highlights two color options for India—black and white, both showcasing a marbled finish. In China, a blue color variant is also offered, but its availability in India is yet to be confirmed.
Key Features of Redmi Note 14 5G (India) Based on teasers from Amazon and Xiaomi India, the Redmi Note 14 5G will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is expected to retain the same camera setup as the Chinese model, including a 2MP depth sensor and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The phone will also come with a vibrant display, enhanced privacy features, and Xiaomi’s AI assistant, AiMi. If the specifications align with the Chinese variant, it will sport a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2,100 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
For performance, the Indian version is likely to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The device will be powered by a robust 5,110mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. It is expected to run on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.
Pricing and Variants While official pricing details are yet to be announced, leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 14 5G could start at Rs.21,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Higher variants, including 8GB RAM models with 128GB and 256GB storage, are rumored to be priced at Rs.22,999 and Rs.24,999, respectively.
