Was angry with wife, raped minor sister-in-law

Kota: A case of deteriorating relationships has once again come to light from the Kota district of Rajasthan, where a brother-in-law has been accused of raping his minor sister-in-law. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the father of the minor victim following which the accused has been arrested.

On the other hand, the victim has been directed to be produced before the Child Welfare Committee and sent to Nari shala. According to the report, the brother-in-law is alleged to have kept the girl with him for 4 days and committed continuous rape. Giving details on the matter, Child Welfare Committee Chairman Kanij Fatma said that the case is from the Nayapura police station area of Kota where the accused got married a year and a half ago. The accused is addicted to alcohol and does wages.

The wife had left the accused a few days ago and moved to her parental home after being disturbed by his alcohol addiction. Police said the accused took his 17-year-old sister-in-law from the college with him to the village. On the other hand, when the girl did not reach home, the family lodged a police complaint after which police reached the brother-in-law's house on suspicion of family members where the girl was recovered from the accused. The police immediately arrested the accused.
