Kota: A very gruesome case has come to light in Kota, Rajasthan. Here a man dragged his wife's body for several metres on the road after killing her. His nine-month-old son, who died in the hospital, was also seriously injured in the incident. Police was informed about the incident on Wednesday (June 2). The incident is said to have taken place in Rampura area on Tuesday (June 1) night. The accused surrendered to the police after killing his wife. Police have started investigating the case. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Kalyan informed that sunil valmiki alias Pintu (40), a resident of Bhatpara area, attacked his wife Seema (35) with an axe after a quarrel over something. He died on the spot. After killing his wife, the accused Sunil took her body to the road and dragged her about 70-80 metres on the road. This created a sensation in the area. After some time the accused left the body on the road. He then reached Rampura police station and confessed to his crime and surrendered. Sunil's 9-month-old son Avinash was also reportedly seriously injured in the accident. He was admitted to a hospital where he died on Wednesday morning during treatment. It is not yet clear how the child was hurt. Police have sent the bodies of the woman and the child for postmortem. Also, an inquiry has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the murder.
