Jhalawar: Traffic week is being organised in the district these days at the behest of Jhalawar SP Ram Murthy Joshi of Rajasthan. Under which drivers are being persuaded to strictly adhere to traffic rules. On the other hand, two-wheelers and four-wheeler drivers who defy traffic rules are being strictly reined in by traffic personnel on various towns and major routes of the district including NH-52 passing through Jhalawar. However, drivers are being instructed to strictly implement necessary safety measures like helmets, driving licences and seat belts for early awareness by traffic personnel to maintain the rules. Besides, the challans of drunken drivers and negligent drivers are also being punished financially. On the other hand, the Lions Club Jhalawar today launched a laudable initiative to support traffic week and free helmets were distributed to forced and poor two-wheeler drivers. He was urged to use helmets to inform them about traffic rules, so that both the common passerby and the driver were not killed. People, too, were happy with the initiative.
