Jaipur: A married woman on Monday evening resorted to a second marriage by her husband in Kiri Street in Kotwali police station area of Dholpur district of Rajasthan. When the married woman reached her husband's house with her family, the in-laws assaulted her and locked the woman's father in the room. A crowd of locals gathered in the locality to see the woman's commotion. People watched the drama that had become a spectacle. Locals reported the matter to the Kotwali police station but the husband fled from the house before the police arrived. The police explained to the woman and cooled the matter down.

In fact, Anuradha Maurya daughter of Mansingh Maurya, a resident of Dattapura in Morena district in Madhya Pradesh, was married to Virendra Singh's son Mansingh of Kiri Mohalla in Kotwali police station area of Dholpur district in 2010. Anuradha's husband Virendra Singh is a government teacher. Anuradha and Virendra Singh have two children, including a son, 9 years and a 6-year-old daughter. Anuradha has been living with both children in her Pihar Morena since January 2016, as Anuradha's husband Virendra was having an affair with Pooja alias Sangeeta and virendra married Pooja alias Sangeeta in the Corona period about three months ago.

When Anuradha came to know about the second marriage, Anuradha reached her in-laws with her family on Monday and started creating a ruckus. Police said both Anuradha and Virendra are husband and wife. There was a dispute between the two. Anuradha is currently registering a dowry and maintenance case and action is also underway in the court. Anuradha had come to her husband's house with her parents on Monday and there was a dispute between the two sides. Both sides have reported.
