Bikaner: In Bikaner district of Rajasthan, miscreants shot a businessman and escaped by snatching his bag full of money. The businessman died due to being shot there. The police have not yet found any clue of these masked robbers. On giving information about the case, the police said that 40-year-old Giriraj Aggarwal, who was making incense sticks and candles, was returning by doing a 'collection' on Friday night. Police further said that two miscreants stopped him on Pugal Road and started trying to snatch a bag full of money by beating him. When Giriraj protested, the miscreants shot him and escaped by snatching a bag full of money. According to the police, the injured Giriraj was rushed to the PBM hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police blocked the city to catch the attackers, but so far they have not been detected. Bikaner Jan Sangharsh Samiti and BJP leaders expressed outrage over the incident and started a sit-in on Saturday demanding the arrest of the accused at the earliest. Police and administration officials arrived to negotiate the picket site. While giving information, BJP District President Akhilesh Pratapsingh said that a three-member committee of BJP will visit Bikaner in connection with this case and 'rising crime' in the city.
