Jaipur: Two persons were brutally beaten up by a mob in Nimbaheda Sadar area of Chittorgarh in Ra Jasthan on Wednesday in a tyre theft case. The villagers thrashed the two and handed them over to the police. It was only when the video of the incident went viral on social media that the police came to know about the case. When questioned by the police, the two accused said that they were beaten up by the villagers. Rajasthan Police has registered a case against 5 persons from the village and arrested 3 of them. The case is that Sattar Khan's son Gulzar Mohammad, a resident of Ranikheda, had registered a case of tyre theft from his shop. He had filed a report of theft of 8 tyres. The villagers suspected Jamil Putra Babu Khan and Komal's son Phoolchand Khatik, residents of Chikara. The duo was then caught by the mob and brutally beaten with kicks and ropes. Both the accused were repeatedly folded their hands and apologized, begging not to kill them. The villagers thrashed the duo also made a video of the entire incident. Jamil and Komal admitted that the duo had stolen 2 tyres. Police arrested the duo and took them to the police station. When the police questioned them after seeing the wound on his body, he did not said anything. Later they explained what the villagers did with them, apart from tyre shop owner Sattar Khan, Ranikheda resident Mansoor son Azad Mansuri and Pappu putra Chand have been arrested.
