PM Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi in Andhra Pradesh) on Tuesday inaugurated the new campus of the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) located at Palasamudram in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Modi reached Palasamudram on Tuesday afternoon to participate in the scheduled programs. He will return only on Tuesday evening. PM Modi also visited the new state-of-the-art campus of NACIN. After which he also visited the Academic Block to plant some saplings and interact with the construction workers. He also interacted with some trainee officers. Also released a book titled 'Flora of Palasamudram'. Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were also present at PM Modi's program. Spread over 500 acres, this academy is going to provide training to officers. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said the design and construction of NACIN's new state-of-the-art campus at Palasamudram was completed as a step towards realizing the Prime Minister's vision of improving governance through civil service capacity building. PM Modi's address: Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi addressed a public meeting. During this, PM Modi has said that "Nowadays, the entire country is in Ram's glory. The life span of Lord Ram, his inspiration, his faith is much more than the scope of devotion. Lord Ram is such a symbol of good governance in social life that your organization Can become a great inspiration for others also." PM Modi has said, "Ram Rajya stood on these 4 pillars of good governance - where everyone can walk with respect and without fear, where every citizen is treated equally, where the weak are protected and where religion i.e. Duties should also remain paramount. Today, these are the four biggest goals of a modern institution in the 21st century." Continuing his talk, the Prime Minister said, "The role of NACIN is to provide a modern ecosystem to the country. An ecosystem that can make business easier in the country, which will create a friendly environment to make India an important partner for global trade. Which will promote ease of doing business in the country through subjects like taxes, customs, narcotics etc." Continuing his talk, PM Narendra Modi said, "...we have made huge reforms in the tax system in the last 10 years. Earlier, there were different types of tax systems, due to lack of transparency, honest taxpayers, business people were harassed. We also gave a modern system to the country in the form of GST."
