PM Modi Criticizes Rahul Gandhi's Raebareli Candidacy, Reaffirms Confidence in Upcoming Election Outcome

NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during an election rally in Bardhaman-Durgapur, West Bengal, responded to the Congress party's announcement of Rahul Gandhi as its candidate from the Raebareli constituency. PM Modi stated that the outcome of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was clear and reaffirmed his earlier assertion that Rahul Gandhi would seek a new seat beyond Wayanad. He accused Gandhi of being afraid to contest from Amethi and urged him not to run away from the challenge.

PM Modi criticized the Congress party for its alleged intentions to change the Constitution and remove quotas for Dalits and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in favor of providing reservations to what he termed a "jihadi" vote bank. He also accused the Opposition of being unable to bring development and instead focusing on dividing society for electoral gain. Furthermore, he highlighted a statement by a Trinamool Congress MLA that he viewed as a threat to the Hindu community in West Bengal.

The Prime Minister emphasized his commitment to fulfilling the dreams of the people and asked for their blessings to continue serving them. He mentioned the importance of holding those accountable for wrongdoings and criticized the Trinamool Congress for allegedly shielding a culprit in the Sandeshkhali case. PM Modi reiterated his dedication to working for the betterment of the country and its citizens.
