PM Modi says 'AMU is the power of the country, do not forget...'

Aligarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released a special stamp through video conferencing as the main date at the centenary celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University. Along with this, PM Modi also addressed the students and teachers of AMU. PM Modi said that today people who have taken training from AMU have dominated the best places in India as well as hundreds of countries of the world. The educated people of AMU represent the culture of India, anywhere in the world.

PM Modi said that the help of society done by AMU during the Corona period is inspiring. He told the students and teachers present on the campus that AMU is the power of the country, never forget it nor let it become weak. PM Modi said that in the last 100 years AMU has also worked to strengthen India's relations with many countries of the world. The research conducted here on Urdu, Arabic and Persian languages, research on Islamic literature, gives new energy to India's cultural relationship with the entire Islamic world.

He further said that many people speak to me that AMU campus is like a city in itself. Many departments, dozens of hostels, thousands of teacher-students, there is a mini India. Here, Urdu and Hindi both are taught. Also, Arabic and Sanskrit are taught.
