Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch an array of transformative projects worth a staggering Rs 7,500 crore in the state of Maharashtra. An Impressive Array of Projects Worth Rs 7,500 Crore to Be Launched by PM Modi Subsequently, the Prime Minister will grace a public gathering in Shirdi, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a range of developmental projects worth approximately Rs 7,500 crore. These projects span various sectors, including health, rail, road, and oil and gas. The newly inaugurated 'darshan queue complex' in Shirdi represents a state-of-the-art, modern megastructure, designed to provide a comfortable waiting environment for devotees, as outlined in the official statement. The complex features multiple waiting halls with a combined seating capacity exceeding 10,000 individuals, with its foundation stone having been laid by the Prime Minister in October 2018. The sprawling 85-kilometer canal network will bring immense benefits to 182 villages by facilitating water distribution through pipe networks. The conception of the Nilwande Dam dates back to 1970, and its development comes at a substantial cost of about Rs 5,177 crore, according to the statement. During the public gathering, Prime Minister Modi will launch the 'Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.' This visionary scheme is poised to benefit over 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra by providing an additional annual incentive of Rs 6,000 to them. Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several key development projects, including an Ayush hospital at the Ahmednagar Civil Hospital, electrification of the Kurduwadi-Latur road railway section spanning 186 kilometers, the four-laning of the Sangli to Borgaon section of NH-166 (package-I), and the introduction of supplementary facilities at the Manmad Terminal of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited, among other vital initiatives.
