PM Modi lays foundation stone of Asia's largest airport, thousands to get employment

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone of Asia's largest airport at Jewar in Greater Noida. PM Modi, who arrived at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Noida International Airport, first visited an exhibition here. He was then accorded a grand welcome by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The mantra chanting also started as PM Modi reached the stage. A huge crowd of people rushed to the venue to listen to PM Modi. The airport is likely to start flight services with a runway by the end of September 2024.

PM Modi said thousands of people also need to run the airport smoothly. The airport will also provide new employment to thousands of people in western Uttar Pradesh. Addressing the Jewar Airport foundation stone laying ceremony, PM Modi said that whether it is the poor or the middle class, farmers or traders, labourers or entrepreneurs, everyone gets the benefit of infrastructure. Similarly, Jewar Airport will also prove to be a treasure trove of facilities.

PM Modi further said that along with the Bhumi Pujan of this airport, the famous jewellery for the Dau Ji fair has also been inscribed on the international map. Millions of people of Delhi-NCR and Western UP will get its huge benefit. He said that the new India of the 21st century is building a magnificent and modern infrastructure from today.
