Our Students Making Us Proud” Says Shubh Agrawal of Ramdarshan Public School, as Students Advance to State-Level-*Science-Competition*

In today’s rapidly evolving world, the need for innovation has never been more urgent. As we face global challenges in energy, sustainability, and technology, the next generation of thinkers is stepping up with fresh solutions. Science and technology offer transformative potential, and it’s the curiosity and creativity of young minds that can pave the way for real-world change. This spirit was evident in the district-level science competition, where students from Ramdarshan Public School in Pithora, Mahasamund District of Chhattisgarh, showcased projects that not only impressed judges but also offered solutions with practical applications.

Roshni Choudhary and Preeti Patel’s project, which focuses on a self-charging vehicle battery, is one such example. Their model harnesses the motion of the vehicle to recharge the battery, similar to a dynamo. This system eliminates the need for external charging, allowing the vehicle to operate for extended periods without requiring manual intervention. Their innovative work earned them first place in the “Team Project” category at the district-level competition, and their project will now represent the district at the state-level event.

Meanwhile, Rudraksha Shukla’s solo project, “Foot Steps,” offers a novel approach to energy generation. The project involves the installation of energy-harvesting devices in high-footfall areas like railway stations, malls, or public spaces. The device generates electricity when a person steps on it, effectively charging a battery through human movement. This groundbreaking idea earned Rudraksha the first rank in the “Solo Project” category at the district-level competition, and it, too, will proceed to the state-level event.

District Collector Vinay Kumar Langhe,  praised the students for their innovative ideas. “These young innovators represent the future of science and technology in our region,” he remarked. “Their projects highlight the importance of fostering creativity and critical thinking in young minds.” Chairman Kavita Agrawal commended the students’ success, adding, “These achievements are a testament to the hard work and talent of our students. We are proud to see them push the boundaries of innovation and make meaningful contributions to solving real-world problems.”

Shubh Agrawal, Secretary of Ramdarshan Public School, also expressed his pride in the students’ achievements, stating, “Our students are making us proud with their creativity, determination, and problem-solving skills. Their projects reflect the kind of scientific thinking that is crucial to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.” The students also credited their science teacher, Ramakant Dhruwanshi, for his guidance throughout the project development process. “Mr. Dhruwanshi’s mentorship was invaluable in helping us refine our ideas and think outside the box,” said Roshni Choudhary.

Ramdarshan Public School, founded in 2022, continues to emphasize academic excellence and innovative thinking. The school’s leadership, including Chairman Kavita Agrawal and Secretary Shubh Agrawal, has been instrumental in providing students with the resources and encouragement needed to explore their potential. As the students prepare for the upcoming state-level competition, their achievements stand as a testament to the power of education and innovation in shaping a brighter future. Their journey is a source of inspiration, demonstrating how young minds, when given the right guidance and opportunities, can contribute meaningfully to solving the challenges of the modern world.
