Dehradun: A big incident is coming out from the Champawat district of Uttarakhand where a follower of spiritual guru Osho shot himself. The body of 45-year-old Swami Dhyan Yogi, a resident of Lucknow, was recovered from near Warsi cave, 85 km from Champawat city. According to the police, he was building an ashram near the cave. Champawat Superintendent of Police Devendra Pincha said a pistol and an unsigned suicide note dated January 28 were recovered from the spot. The police officer said that prima facie it appears that he was suffering from stress and shot himself. He said that the matter is being investigated from all angles. Baba Virendra Giri of Warsi cave said that Dhyan Yogi was living with him in the cave for the last 7 days and was under stress. According to Virendra Giri, there was a loud sound from the bathroom on Friday afternoon. When he got down from the second floor of the ashram, Swami Dhyan Yogi was lying there. A pistol was lying nearby. Virendra Giri informed the police about this. Baba Virendra Giri told, Swami Dhyan Yogi used to talk on mobile for a long time every day. Police have received a suicide note and 315 bore pistol, one cartridge case, and four live cartridges from the spot. In the suicide note, he had expressed his desire to build a mausoleum near this Dham. In the suicide note, he has not held anyone responsible. It is written in the beginning that I am deciding that I myself responsible for my death considering the Constitution of India as a witness. I am very upset with life. Do not blame anyone for my death. He has written that his post-mortem should not be done and he should be cremated here.
