Odisha's kindergartens and playschools will reopen on February 14 as the third coronavirus outbreak continues to decline.
On February 7, nearly a month after remaining closed due to the third wave of the pandemic, all educational institutions across the state resumed physical classes.
"The government has been pleased to authorise private pre-school (Play & KG) reopening for the academic term 2021-22 beginning February 14," the Information and Public Relations Department announced on Tuesday.
COVID-appropriate behaviour will be strictly enforced by the respective private pre-school management, according to the statement.
The department stated that all teaching, non-teaching, and support employees must have had two doses of the COVID vaccine. It went on to say that school officials should take special care of the young kids.
