Noida: An incident of savagery has come to light from Noida adjoining Delhi. Here, two girls were held hostage and raped for many years. With the help of an NGO, the police rescued the two girls. After the medical test of the girls, they are now being counselled. Police had received information that the girls were being held hostage in a Sunworld Vanika society. On this information, the women police and NGOs took action. Two girls have been rescued by the police from flat number 201 tower number 2 of a man named Naveen Gupta. Both the girls are residents of Dispur in Assam and were held hostage for four years. The victim told the police that a man named Naveen Gupta had held her hostage and was subjected to incidents of inhuman treatment, sexual harassment, rape and assault. Both the girls were not even paid their salaries on time, the police have registered a case in the matter and the girls are very scared and are being counselled. Police said strict action will be taken in the matter.
