In the first-ever of its kind, Elon Musk hosted a group of prominent Indian business leaders at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Texas. This exclusive meeting gave Indian entrepreneurs a unique chance to interact directly with Musk and explore SpaceX's advanced space exploration hub. The visit on January 17 included a detailed tour of the Starbase and a front-row view of SpaceX’s Starship Flight 7 launch and booster recovery. During a discussion session, Musk highlighted the potential for stronger partnerships between the United States and India, especially in sectors like technology and space exploration. “Things are moving in a positive direction. I fully support reducing trade barriers to boost trade between the US and India. Musk also shared his admiration for India, describing it as “one of the oldest civilizations, rich in complexity and greatness. The Indian delegation, which included representatives from industries like technology, manufacturing, and renewable energy, discussed various global challenges and opportunities for collaboration. Key topics included the role of technology in finance, regulations, space and AI partnerships, and India’s growing influence on the global innovation stage. Musk provided valuable insights into his ventures, including SpaceX, Tesla, and Neuralink, underscoring his belief in the transformative power of technology. “At SpaceX, our aim is to broaden human consciousness and find the right questions to explore the mysteries of the universe,” Musk explained. He also spoke about Grok, his AI project, saying, “We are confident that Grok 3 will soon become the most advanced AI in the world.” Manoj Ladwa, the founder of the India Global Forum (IGF), emphasized the significance of global collaboration in addressing the challenges of the modern era. “This meeting highlights the growing importance of partnerships between India and global innovators to shape a sustainable, tech-driven future,” Ladwa said, adding that - As democracies, our strength lies in working together.
