Kollam: A shocking incident is coming to the fore from Kollam district of Kerala. Prashant Nambiar, a 33-year-old music teacher from Naduvilakkara village, has come to the fore. After searching everything on Google, Nambiar killed his female friend and after dismembering her body, dumped her in a pit behind the house. In this case, the Kollam court has sentenced the murderer to life imprisonment. The incident is of 20 March 2020. According to the news received, a person in Palakkad district typed in Google search how to kill his wife? Soon after, according to police records, 33-year-old music teacher Prashant Nambiar strangled his friend Suchitra Pillai, 42, to death in their rented house. Later that night, Prashant came online again and did a Google search on how to locate the body. Along with this, he also thought of a way to cheat the police by watching movies. The Kollam Additional Sessions Court-1 on Monday sentenced Prashant to life imprisonment for the murder of Suchitra, a resident of Naduvilakkara village in the same district. Prashant has been sentenced to 14 years in jail and will also have to pay a fine of Rs 2.5 lakh. Both these sentences will run concurrently. It is said that the relationship between the two started in 2019. According to media reports, the prosecution told that Suchitra, who was divorced twice, insisted on having a child with Prashant. But he was already married. Suchitra, a beautician trainer by profession, was a distant relative of Prashant's wife. The two met for the first time in 2019 at Prashant's baby naming ceremony. Suchitra asked Prashant to become the father of her child. Meanwhile, he also took Rs 2.56 lakh from her. Prashant was afraid that if he agreed for the child, the matter would be revealed. According to the charge sheet filed by the police in the court, Prashant had said that they both had plans to stay together for a few days in March. Meanwhile, Prashanth sent his wife and child to his home in Kollam and his parents to Kozhikode. The police have also recovered WhatsApp chats of both. Which shows that Prashant had asked Suchitra to wear black clothes so that no one could see her when she entered their house at night. According to police records, Suchitra left home on the morning of March 17 and went to the Beautician Training Academy in Kollam. She told her family that she was going to Kochi to attend a class. In the afternoon, she left the academy saying that she was going to Alappuzha to meet an ailing relative. That evening, Prashant picked her up from an isolated stretch of the highway in Kollam and took her to Palakkad, 270 km away. Then both stayed at Prashant's house till 20 March. Suchitra took leave from office and told her family that she would return on 22 March. According to the information received, Prashant attacked Suchitra on the evening of 20 March. As she fell on the ground, Prashant sat on her and pressed both his knees to her chest. He used an electric wire to strangulate her. After the murder, he covered her body with a sheet. On March 23, the family lodged a missing report with the local police. Then the police traced his call details and arrested Prashant. Assistant Commissioner of Police B Gopakumar, the investigating officer of the case, said that in addition to his call history, the police retrieved internet details, which helped them track his mobile. The success in this matter came from his Google search. In this he searched how the spiritual master killed his wife. Even after the murder, he had logged on online and searched the internet about how to dispose of the dead body. Also saw those films in which the hero was successful in deceiving the police. The same is now being further investigated by the police.
