Bhopal: There has been a tussle in the Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh governments over the arrest of Kalicharan Maharaj, who made derogatory remarks on the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has raised questions on the action of Chhattisgarh Police. Actually, Kalicharan was arrested from Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. Narottam Mishra has called the action against the federal structure without informing the Madhya Pradesh Police about it. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has justified the action of the police. Narottam Mishra said that the Chhattisgarh Police should have told the Madhya Pradesh Police. Narottam Mishra told that he has asked the DGP of Madhya Pradesh to discuss with the DGP of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has attacked this entire controversy. He wrote that justice should not be so delayed that it starts to look like injustice. He will be produced in court within 24 hours. He has also raised questions on the intention of the Shivraj government regarding this arrest.
