Shillong: The corona vaccination campaign is currently underway in Desh, the government is appealing to everyone to take the vaccine. Meanwhile, the Meghalaya High Court has made a landmark comment. The High Court says vaccination cannot be made mandatory, forced vaccination is a violation of the fundamental rights of any citizen.
In fact, in many districts of Meghalaya, the administration had ordered that shopkeepers, taxi drivers and others would be able to return to work only if they were vaccinated. A petition was filed in the High Court against the same. The High Court has said that the right to vaccination cannot violate anyone's fundamental right. This type of order is not correct to continue one's livelihood. The court said it is the responsibility of the government to inform people about vaccination.
However, the court has described vaccination as a better remedy in view of the current situation. But it has objected to making it compulsory in some way or binding between livelihoods. Tell me, the pace of mission vaccination in the country is now increasing. However, people in rural areas are still reluctant to take the vaccine. It is seen that a variety of tricks are being devised to get the vaccine in different parts of the country and in some things it is being made mandatory.
