Bhopal: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Ramabai of Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh has been suspended by party supremo Mayawati. It is being told that former UP CM Mayawati has suspended MLA Rama Bai for supporting the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Ramabai is a BSP MLA from Patharia Assembly seat in Damoh district. Mayawati said that the BSP is a disciplined party. Immediate action is taken after breaking its discipline. Mayawati has also banned participation in Ramabai's party programs. BSP President Mayawati has also said that the BSP first opposed it by calling the Citizenship Amendment Act as divisive and unconstitutional. A memorandum was also submitted to the President in this regard, yet MLA Ramabai supported the Citizenship Act. Let us tell you that even before this, Ramabai was warned to walk on the party line several times.
