Panaji, (Goa) [India] June 15 (ANI):AFter returning from the United States, Manohar Parrikar, the Chief Minister of Goa returned to his office on Friday. The minister was undergoing treatment regarding a pancreatic ailment. Parrikar, after resuming his office on Friday, expressed his gratitude towards his well wishers. The minister stated, "As I resume my work, I thank all my well wishers for the prayers and blessings which gave me much needed support and strength to recover." Before resuming office in the state secretariat, Manmohan Parrikar offered his prayers at the Mahalaxmi temple in Panaji. Since March, the Goa Chief Minister was undergoing pancreatic treatment in the US. In a video message released last month, Parrikar informed that his treatment was progressing towards success and also that his health was improving. Parrikar was referred to the United States for further medical treatment, before which he was hospitalised on february 15at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to minor pancreatic issues. The minister was then discharged on February 22, after which he was suggested to visit the United states for treatment.
