Mahant Narendra Giri made a video before his death

Prayagraj: All India Akhara Parishad president Mahant Narendra Giri died under suspicious circumstances yesterday (September 20) and his body was found hanging from the room of Baghambari Math in Prayagraj, UP. The suicide note found near the body contained the names of several persons including disciple Anand Giri. On Monday, sant samaj was shocked by the death of Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri under suspicious circumstances. The room where Narendra Giri's body was found in Baghambari Monastery in Prayagraj was locked from inside.

The same police broke the door and trawled out the body. Police have termed it as a case of suicide in an initial investigation. The Mahant from whom CM, deputy chief minister and senior leaders used to come to seek blessings. Even Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had met him a day before his death. Even at that time, there was happiness on his face, no tension. So, the question is, what happened that led to Mahanta taking a suicide step?

The same Mahant Narendra Giri had also made a video from his phone before his death which is in the hands of the police. According to police, Narendra Giri had made a 4-minute video just before his death. Police have recovered Narendra Giri's phone and sent it for forensic examination. Police have also recovered an 8-page suicide note from the room during the investigation. According to police, the suicide note mentions his disciple Anand Giri. The suicide note also names Adya Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari.
