Judge announced sentence of life imprisonment, guilty of rape ran from court

Rajgarh: In Rajgarh district court of Madhya Pradesh, the judge sentenced a convict of rape to life imprisonment under the POCSO Act. Convicted on hearing the sentence. After this, taking advantage of the opportunity, the guilty Jitendra Bhil escaped from the full court. After this incident, several policemen, including Rajgarh SP Pradeep Sharma, kept searching for the culprit on many kilometers walk, but the absconding criminal Jitendra Bhil has not been found so far.

This case belongs to the Rajgarh District Court Campus. In the case of raping a minor, including the Poxo Act here, the court, while awarding the verdict, sentenced the convicted Jitendra to life imprisonment. On hearing the sentence, the criminal Jitendra escaped from the court premises by pushing the court scribe. After the culprit absconding, several policemen, including Rajgarh SP Pradeep Sharma, continued to search for the culprit. It is being told that two years ago, Jitendra Bhil had raped a mentally challenged girl. At the same time, when the minor girl became pregnant, on asking the family, the victim told her family about the incident. After this, exactly two years ago in 2018, his family reached the Rajgarh police station with a minor victim and filed a case against the accused.

On the complaint of family members, a case was registered in Rajgarh police station for raping a minor, including the Poxo Act and other sections. When the district Rajgarh court sentenced the offender to life imprisonment, he fled from the court itself. DPO (Public Prosecutor) Alok Srivastava said that on 2 October 2018, the mother of the victim's minor had filed a complaint that, her girl is mentally deranged. Accused Jitendra Bhil continued to seduce her and make physical relations with her. Due to this, she became pregnant. When the victim's mother took her to the doctor, the doctor told her that she is 13 weeks pregnant. After this, the woman went to the police station and lodged a complaint. On the basis of the victim girl's statement and DNA report, the court sentenced the accused Jitendra to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000. He escaped from the court after hearing the sentence.
