Indore: The sensation spread on Sunday morning after the body of an elderly couple was found in the Srinath apartment located at street number 3 in the posh colony Snehalatganj under the MG Road police station area of Indore, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and took the dead bodies to the MY Hospital for post-mortem. Police is currently investigating the case. It is not yet known how the elderly couple has died. According to information provided by MG Road police station, the bodies of 65-year-old Prakash Shah and his wife Sumitra Shah, 64, residents of the Srinath apartment have been recovered from their flat. Here both spouses lived alone in the 302 number flat on the third floor. Prakash Bhai Shah was a member of the administrative committee of the Gujarati society. He died under mysterious circumstances at night. Following the information given by the neighbors on Sunday morning, the police reached the spot and completed the Panchnama action. According to the police, the bodies have been taken to MY Hospital for postmortem to find out the cause of death. The real cause of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes out. After receiving the information, Congress leader and senior Pankaj Sanghvi of Gujarati society reached the spot and inquired about the matter. He said that Prakash Bhai Shah had been ill for several days and was staying in the house due to the lockdown.
