Congress MLA's son absconding for 6 months in rape case, Home Minister increased prize money

Indore: The prize money announced on Karan Morwal, the absconding son of Congress MLA Murli Morwal from Barnagar in Ujjain in the rape case, is now being increased from 15,000 to 25,000. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said he has directed Indore IG to increase the reward on Karan Morwal. Mishra has also warned that if the Son of Congress MLA Murli Morwal does not surrender in two days, he will take action which will set an example in the state.

 

 

He said, "I pray to Congress MLA Murli Morwal to produce his son in a day or two, otherwise, the attachment and demolition proceedings are under process. Police have stepped up pressure on Congress MLA Murli Morwal.'' Police had also questioned Congress MLA Murli Morwal's younger son Shivam in the case on Tuesday. Congress MLAs themselves had reached Palasia police station. It may be recalled that Karan Morwal, son of Congress MLA Murli Morwal from Barnagar, has been booked for rape by a local leader of his own party Congress.

The son of Congress MLA has been absconding for nearly six months after a rape case was registered. Several audios of Congress leader and accused Karan Morwal in the case had also gone viral on the internet. An audio of the conversation between Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha and the victim had also surfaced in the past. After which the political mercury in the state had gone up and the BJP had ambushed Kamal Nath and Digvijay.
