Corona breaks record again in Madhya Pradesh, number of patients crosses 20 thousand

Bhopal: Coronavirus is creating new records every day in Madhya Pradesh. On Thursday, 735 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the state and with this, the total number of people found infected with this virus has reached 20,378. In the last 24 hours in the state, seven more patients have been confirmed dead due to this disease, taking the death toll to 689.

Giving information, a Madhya Pradesh official said, "During the last 24 hours, two people each in Indore and Bhopal and one each in Shivpuri, Singrauli, and Satna died due to infection of coronavirus in the state." He told, "Indore has recorded the highest 280 deaths due to coronavirus so far. 127 deaths have been reported in Bhopal, 71 in Ujjain, 23 in Burhanpur, 22 in Sagar, 17 in Khandwa, 16 in Jabalpur, 15 in Khargone, 10 in Dewas, 9 in Mandsaur, 8 in Dhar and 8 in Neemuch.

The official said that on Thursday, the maximum 136 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the state from Indore district, while 121 in Gwalior, 66 in Bhopal, 50 in Jabalpur, 45 in Morena, 32 in Shajapur and 24 new cases have been reported in Rewa. He said that out of the total of 20,378 infected people in the state till now, 14,127 patients have gone home after recovery, and the treatment of 5,562 patients is going on in various hospitals.
