Conflicts between supporters of current and former MLAs of Congress over illegal sand mining

Chhatarpur: In Khajuraho, Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, the former MLA of Congress and the supporters of the current MLA clashed. The current MLA supporters broke the vehicles with sticks of the supporters of the former MLA and also looted the supporters. This entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras.

The incident happened last night where supporters of Vikram Singh Nataraja, the current MLA from the Congress party from Rajnagar, were transporting illegal sand from the khad of Surajpura panchayat and taking it through trunks. On this, supporters of former MLA of Congress Shankar Pratap Singh Bundela protested and took away the keys of the trucks. Meanwhile, Vikram Singh's supporters got information about this. Many supporters reached the power house on this. Not only did he vandalize the three cars of former MLA supporters, but he also beat them fiercely.

In this case, the son of former MLA and Youth Congress leader reached the police station, the police did not register a report first. Later, on the basis of CCTV, the police has registered a case against 10 MLA supporters. The rest of the people are also being identified with CCTV footage. All sand mining is banned in Chhatarpur.
