Bhopal: Notification regarding by-elections for 28 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh may be issued tomorrow i.e. on coming Friday. With the release of these, the nomination process will start at these places. Official sources say that the duly notified by the Election Commission will be issued in the morning on Friday. After that candidates will be able to file nomination papers. It is being told that this work is going on till October 16 and scrutiny will be done the next day. The last date for withdrawal of nominees is 19 October and voting in all 28 constituencies will be on 3 November. Finally, on November 10, the votes will be counted and the results will be declared. BJP has declared its candidates for all 28 seats and Congress has also declared 27 candidates, except Biaora. Along with this, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is also involved in the electoral battle and this party has declared candidates for about two dozen seats. There are presently 202 MLAs in the 230 member assembly of Madhya Pradesh and these include 107 of BJP, 88 of Congress, two of BSP, one of Samajwadi Party, and four Independents. In such a total 230-member assembly, the magic figure in the full house position is that the minimum number of members to prove majority is 116.
