Kochi: Three blasts took place one after the other at a convention center in Ernakulam, Kerala on Sunday (28 October). One woman died in the incident, while information about 35 people being injured has come to light. According to reports, around 9.30 am, people were praying at the convention center located in Kalamassery, when three consecutive explosions occurred within 5 minutes. These are being considered terrorist attacks. According to the report, TA Srikumar, local spokesperson of the Jehovah's Witnesses Institute, said that three blasts occurred at 9:45 pm in the convention hall. These blasts occurred within a few seconds of the Jewish prayers ending. The first explosion occurred in the middle of the hall. A few seconds later, two more explosions occurred on either side of the hall. Let us tell you that a good number of people of the Jewish community live around the place where the blast took place in Ernakulam. After this, this terrorist attack has taken place in Ernakulam, Kerala, after which IB and NIA teams have reached the spot. About 2 thousand people were present in the convention center during the blast. All the hospitals in the district have been alerted. However, the reason for the blast has not been revealed yet. Kerala Health Minister Veena George has issued instructions to the department officials to provide better treatment to the people injured in the blast. All hospitals in Ernakulam have been alerted. The minister has directed all health workers, including doctors, who are on leave to return immediately. Along with this, instructions have also been given to increase additional facilities in Kalamassery Medical College, Ernakulam General Hospital and Kottayam Medical College.
