Kamal Nath Resigns from Congress, Potentially Joining BJP with 12 MLAs

Bhopal: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath has resigned from all posts from Congress. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress has received a big setback. According to sources, Kamal Nath has submitted his resignation to Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal. Kamal Nath has also resigned from the membership of the party. 

The report, quoting sources, has claimed that former Chief Minister Kamal Nath may join BJP along with his son Nakul Nath. Not only this, along with them about a dozen Congress MLAs and former MLAs can also join BJP. Actually, Kamal Nath reached Delhi with his son Nakul Nath on Saturday and submitted his resignation to the Congress high command. There was news for the past several days that Kamal Nath was angry with the Congress high command.

After the upheaval in the Madhya Pradesh organization and the removal of Kamal Nath from the post of state unit president, senior Congress leaders and former CMs were upset. It is expected that after the two-day National Executive meeting of BJP in Delhi, BJP may make many big political blasts and will make many Congress leaders join BJP. However, Kamal Nath has not yet given any reaction regarding joining BJP.
