BJP gearing up for Goa assembly elections, Nadda to visit on July 12-13

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda will visit Goa on July 12 and 13 during which he will hold meetings with various branches of the party. A senior BJP leader in the state said this on Saturday. He said the immediate focus of the ruling party is to strengthen the (party) organization ahead of next year's assembly elections.

Nadda will be accompanied by party national general secretary BL Santosh and party state in-charge CT Ravi who will review the party's preparedness for the February 2022 assembly elections. Party's Goa unit president Sadanand Khet Tanwade said the party is fully prepared for the elections at any time, even tomorrow. He said Nadda will discuss the preparations with various organizational branches of the party, legislature party, chairman and general secretaries of district committees, in-charge of various divisions, social media cell and others.

He further said that the party has not decided on ticket distribution as it is still six months old in the elections. He said the BJP Parliamentary Board will take a final decision on the names of the candidates after the survey in the assembly constituencies.
