JP Nadda slams new entrants, AAP, TMC over situation in Delhi

Panaji: Ahead of the Goa Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda attacked new entrants in the state election, accusing the All India Trinamool Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party of causing problems in the states they govern.

"New parties are arriving in Goa and attempting to persuade people to vote for them; someone inquires about their experience in West Bengal. West Bengal has the most incidents of human trafficking, crimes against women, high crime rates, and a deplorable law and order scenario "Nadda stated that he was going to attack TMC. "If we observe Delhi, whatever they (AAP) were responsible for creating, they left on the central government and focused on advertising," he remarked, referring to AAP. "For 70 years, the Congress ruled the country; they left the people on their own; their policy was to make promises at election time, to seduce voters," said BJP chief.

The Goa Assembly has 40 members, of which the BJP now has 17 and is supported by legislators from the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP), Goa Forward Party (GFPVijay )'s Sardesai, and three independents. Both GFP and MGP have three MLAs. The House of Representatives, on the other hand, has 15 members.

From Wednesday, the BJP chief is in Goa for a two-day visit. Goa's assembly elections are scheduled for early 2022.
