Lucknow: A case of stabbing to death of Shikha, wife of businessman Lalit Verma and their eight-year-old son, has come to light on Thursday evening at Surendra Nagar under Quarsi police station area in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Shikha Verma and her son Girvanshu were alone at home at the time of the incident. It is being told that the killers brutally killed and left the spot, but no one even got to know about it. The victim, Lalit Verma, has lodged a complaint with the police station against his and his sister-in-law's husband, suspecting murder in the ongoing dispute with her younger sister-in-law. Lalit says his wife has been murdered for Rs 45 lakh of her father's fund. Shikha's father was a government employee and had three daughters. He died in the line of duty. Having three daughters, one had to get a government job. 45 lakh rupees of his fund were also going to be received by the three sisters. It was advised in the family that the two sisters would share Rs 45 lakh among themselves. A sister will take a government job in place of her father. But Shikha's youngest sister Anjali did not accept this. She wanted both a government job and Rs 45 lakh. The matter related to fund sharing and government jobs between the three sisters had gone to court. Lalit suspects that due to all these disputes, Shikha and her son have been killed. Police have registered a case of murder against Anjali and her would-be husband Somesh Chauhan and started an investigation. SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said Lalit has said that there is a dispute with Shikha's sister Anjali and her future husband Somesh. The SSP said a case has been registered against them. The matter is being seriously investigated. Soon the killers will be put behind bars.
