New Delhi, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1. Eligible candidates can complete their registration online via the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. The deadline for applying for JEE Main 2024 session 1 is November 30. Session 1 examinations are scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1. Subsequently, the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exams are set to occur from April 1 to April 15, 2024. Candidates have the option to appear for both session 1 and session 2 exams. The highest score obtained across both attempts will be considered for inclusion in the JEE Main rank list 2024. Seat allocation for JEE Main 2024 and subsequent admissions will be determined based on the choices made by candidates and their All India Ranks. Eligible candidates will receive admission offers through a seat allocation process, the details of which will be announced later by either the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) or the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Throughout the seat allocation and admission process, verification of essential documents such as birth certificates, qualifying examination certificates, state of eligibility certificates, category certificates, and disability certificates (if applicable) will be conducted. Failure to produce any of these documents will result in the candidate being ineligible for admission. Candidates belonging to categories such as Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Caste (OBC), and Person with Disability (PwD) must possess original certificates in the prescribed formats issued by the competent authority.
