New Delhi:- Chandrayaan 3 is an upcoming mission of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). It is the successor mission to Chandrayaan-2 and consists of a lander and a rover. Sriharikota's Chandrayan-3 launch with his LVM3 is scheduled for July 13th but could be delayed until July 19th. The main goal of this mission is to bring the lander and rover closer to the lunar south pole by August 2023. Another goal is to make scientific measurements on the moon. One week before the launch of India's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan 3, here's everything you need to know about the project. Chandrayaan 3 will have lander, rover, and propulsor models. The rover is housed inside the lander. The rover for the next mission will be equipped with a seismometer, a heat flow experimenter, and a spectrometer. According to ISRO's website, the new mission has three main goals. These include safely landing on the moon, traveling on the moon, conducting certain scientific experiments, etc. As NASA explains on its website, the lander will land in the lunar south pole region. Meanwhile, the propulsion module will remain in lunar orbit to support communications with Earth. The entire mission is expected to last one lunar day, which is about 14 days on Earth. The total weight of Chandra Yarn 3 is 3900 kg. The Chandrayaan 3 propulsion module features a large solar panel on one side and a cylinder on top. The lander, on the other hand, is equipped with numerous sensors and advanced technology. The rover is equipped with navigation cameras and solar panels.
