Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) has started looking for eligible candidates for two important posts. These posts are: Project Engineer - I (Electronics) and Project Research Assistant. Both these posts are under temporary contract for one year, which can be extended based on performance. These posts are headquartered in Bengaluru. Position Description designation Education Age Limit Salary Project Engineer – I (Electronics) ME/M.Tech in Electronics with 1 year FPGA experience OR BE/B.Tech with 3 years FPGA experience 30 years ₹75,000 per month Project Research Assistant M.S in Astronomy and Astrophysics followed by BE/B.Tech in relevant field. 30 years ₹36,000 per month roles and responsibilities Project Engineer - I (Electronics): This position involves working on electronics for astronomy equipment. It will also involve design and testing work, and may also require travel to field stations. Project Research Assistant: This position will focus on the design and testing of astronomy equipment.
