IT raids on former NBCC CGM DK Mittal's house, cash worth crores recovered

New Delhi: The Income Tax department has raided the house of former NBCC CGM in Noida, adjoining the national capital. It has come to light that a huge amount of cash, jewellery and other documents have been found. It is being told that the cash is so much that 2 note counting machines have been ordered. The operation is going on at his residence in Noida's Sector 19. According to media reports, around Rs, 2 crores has been recovered so far.  

A huge quantity of jewellery has also been reported to have been recovered from the residence of DK Mittal. It is being told that the former CGM has not been able to give the details of the amount and jewellery recovered from his house to the income tax department officials. According to sources, the counting of rupees is going on. For this, two note-counting machines have been ordered. During the search, the income tax department team has also recovered several documents from the former NBCC CGM, in connection with which the question is being made.  

According to reports, a corruption case against former NBCC CGM DK Mittal is being investigated by the CBI. Meanwhile, acting on a tip-off about the receipt of cash, a team of the Income Tax Department reached the residence of DK Mittal in Sector-19, Noida. The notes are being counted after the recovery of the huge amount of cash there. According to media reports, the counting of notes recovered from the two machines is going on, but the full amount has not been counted yet.
