Jaipur: The matter of putting up posters of exodus of Hindus in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur has come to light. In these posters, local Congress councilor Farid Qureshi has been told responsible for the exodus. The dispute started when a relative of Congress councilor Farid Qureshi bought a Hindu house in the colony. According to the reports, the matter is related to Kishanpole area of Jaipur. Here Om Prakash Pareek lived with his family in ward number 69. A few days back, he had sold his house to relatives of local Congress corporator Farid Qureshi. Other residents of the ward opposed this. However, it is being told that Om Prakash Pareek got full money for this. These posters were found pasted in the ward after Om Prakash's house was sold to Farid's relatives. Most of the Hindus live in this locality. Most of the Muslim population is being told around this locality. The residents of Purohit ji's locality allege that gradually the Muslim population around them is being increased deliberately. He has blamed Congress councilor Farid Qureshi for this. Congress councilor Farid is also accused of thrashing and abusing people and implicating them in false cases. The local people have expressed maximum concern about their sisters and daughters. According to media reports, a local woman says, 'The reason is that day by day the sisters and daughters here will be in danger. These people speak dirty abuses. This morning only my sister-in-law has been abused. They have given casteist abuses. There are few women here to listen to abuses. These people say that we will remove the Hindus from here.' The local people have called Congress councilor Farid Qureshi the mastermind behind all these things. The woman says, 'Earlier the children used to roam freely here at night, but now the freedom has been taken away. Now we cannot roam around.' Another woman of Purohit ji's Mohalla says that earlier we used to live freely and go to temples etc. according to our own accord, but now we will face trouble. The woman has alleged that 'these people look at us and say that they are watching us'. Another woman has told that, 'Even before coming, these people have started abusing. What will be the condition after coming here. It is being told that there are already 4 houses of Muslims and 50 houses of Hindus in this locality. These posters are becoming fiercely viral on social media, after which BJP MLA Ramlal Sharma has attacked the Ashok Gehlot government of Congress. On the other hand, Congress spokesperson RC Chowdhary has demanded action against the person who put up the exodus poster. He says that such people should not be spared under any circumstances. According to Jaipur's DCP North Zone, an FIR has been registered in the matter and the accused are being searched. He claimed that no such incident has happened and only anti-social elements are spreading confusion among the people. As of now no one has been arrested in the matter, investigation is on.
