Shimla: The government of Himachal Pradesh (HP) has decided to reopen schools for students in grades 3 to 7 on November 10 and for students in grades 1 and 2 on November 15. The decision was made at a state cabinet meeting on Monday, which was chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. "The Cabinet decided to re-open schools for students in classes 3 to 7 with effect from November 10 and classes 1-2 with effect from November 15 at full capacity," according to an official release from Information and Public Relations. The government also decided to restore full-capacity bus service instead of the previous 50 percent limit. The Himachal Pradesh cabinet also agreed to recommend to the Governor of HP that the winter session of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha be held in Dharamshala, district Kangra, from December 10 to 15. "There would be five sittings," according to the press release. The 'Janmanch' Programme will be held on November 21 in various parts of the state, according to the decision. According to the release, the Cabinet also discussed the progress made in implementing the Bharatiya Janata Party's Swarnim Drishtri Patra, which has been adopted as the state government's policy document.
