Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Meets BJP Chief JP Nadda in Delhi

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda in Delhi on Monday to seek guidance on various key issues impacting the state.

Following the meeting, Saini shared on X, "Today I met the National President of @BJP4India and Union Minister Shri @JPNadda ji in Delhi and received his guidance on various subjects." The discussion covered critical matters affecting Haryana.

Earlier, just days after the new government was sworn in, Saini retained several important portfolios, including Home and Finance, as cabinet positions were assigned. Saini continues to oversee Home, Finance, Excise and Taxation, Planning, Urban Development, Information, Public Relations, Justice, and Personnel & Training departments.

Minister Anil Vij was given charge of Energy, Transport, and Labour, while Shruti Choudhry took on Women & Child Development, along with Irrigation & Water Resources.

Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as Haryana's Chief Minister for the second time under the BJP-led government. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Dussehra Ground in Panchkula, with Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administering the oath.

Upon taking charge at the Haryana Civil Secretariat, Saini expressed his commitment to the people of Haryana, vowing to work tirelessly for their welfare. He emphasized the government's focus on good governance, equality, and prosperity, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP secured its third consecutive government in Haryana, winning 48 out of 90 seats in the recent assembly elections, while the Congress won 37 seats.
