Just 15 days after marriage newlywed got raped

New Delhi: A case of rape of a newly married woman, allegedly by the brother-in-law, has come to light in a village located in Dankaur, Greater Noida, adjacent to the national capital. The victim was married 15 days ago. After the rape, the accused fled from the spot. Based on the complaint of the woman, the police is probing the matter.

According to the information, on Thursday in a village located in Dankaur, the brother-in-law of the relationship raped the newlyweds after locking them in the room of the house. After the rape, the accused fled from there. The wife of the accused also supported him in this work. The victim woman along with her husband and family reached Kotwali with a complaint. Two real sisters of a village in Bulandshahr have married 15 days ago in the village of Dankaur Kotwali. Both the sisters were married in the neighbourhood. A woman's husband works in Greater Noida.

On Thursday, when the husband left home for duty, the newlywed woman went to her neighbour's brother-in-law's house for some work. As soon as the woman stepped into the room, another woman from behind closed the room. The accused locked the woman in the room and raped her.  During this time, the wife of the accused played music in a loud voice. This left the woman's screams. After committing the rape, the accused fled from the spot. Dankaur police said that the woman is undergoing a medical test. The woman who helped in the incident has also been questioned.
