Panaji: AAP has geared up for the Goa Assembly elections. After announcing the name of the chief ministerial candidate in Punjab, AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal will announce the name of the party's chief ministerial candidate in Goa on Wednesday (January 19). Significantly, on the 8th of this month, AAP had released the first list of candidates for the Goa Assembly elections. In this, the names of 10 candidates were included, in which names like former BJP minister Mahadev Naik, Alina Saldanha and lawyer-turned-politician Amit Palekar were included. According to this list, Palekar St. Cruz, BJP's Vishwajit Krishnarao Rane Poriyam, former BJP minister Naik Shiroda, Satyavijay Naik Valpoi, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party's Premanand Nanoskar Dabolim, former BJP minister Saldanha will try their luck from the Courtalim seat. Pratima Nevilim, former president of Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress, Vinje Viges Benaulim, Abhijit Desai Senguem and Dominic Gonkar will be the candidates from Curtorim. For the victory in the Goa Assembly elections, AAP's convener Arvind Kejriwal has prepared a 13-point agenda along with providing free electricity and water.
