Jaipur: A major accident has been reported during idol immersion at Dholpur in Rajasthan. Here, 5 youths died after drowning in the Parvati river during idol immersion. After the accident, the atmosphere of celebration in the area turned into mourning. All 5 bodies have been fished out of the river with the help of divers. All the deceased were reportedly residents of Jagner police station area of the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place during idol immersion in the Parvati river passing near Bhuteshwar Mahadev in the Basdi police station area of Dholpur. Here, 5 youths drowned in the river during the idol immersion. Then there was a stir here. Locals reported the incident to the police and the administration. The administration with the help of divers all 5 bodies emerged from the river. The people of Bhawanpura in Jagner, Agra had arrived here to immerse the idol in Basdi. A convoy of about a dozen youths took the idol along with it and landed in the river water. But five youths drowned when the water inside the river was high and there was a strong current. The administration has recovered the bodies of Ravi, Ranveer, Satya Prakash, Krishna and Sandeep with the help of divers. District collector Rakesh Kumar Jaiswal said that 5 youths from Jagner in Uttar Pradesh died due to drowning. The matter is being reported to the Uttar Pradesh administration. So that they can get assistance from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
