Indore: Protesting against Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and calling Home Minister Narottam Mishra a terrorist has come down heavily on the protesters. In fact, Neemuch police have registered an FIR against more than 150 people who did so. 11 accused have been named under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). On the occasion of Ram Navami, violence broke out during a procession in Khargone in the state. In this case, the members of the MIC staged a demonstration at the Neemuch SP office. During this, the protesters raised slogans against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh while calling Home Minister Narottam Mishra a terrorist. Police said more than 200 MIC members were protesting outside the SP office. During this time, the video of the objectionable sloganeering went viral on social media. The police then lodged an FIR. According to the Neemuch police, an FIR has been registered against more than 150 people for violating prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CRPC. Neemuch Superintendent of Police Suraj Verma said a bond has also been issued to the protesters so that they do not do such a thing again. "We are also keeping an eye on social media to ensure that no one posts such controversial content. We urge everyone to refrain from making provocative or objectionable posts.''
