Lucknow: BJP-ruled state governments are facing a lot of criticism over poet Munawwar Rana, who has said to leave the state when Yogi Adityanath becomes the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh again. Now, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh has registered a case against Munawwar Rana in Guna. The action has been taken after the Ramayana creator Maharshi Valmiki was described as like the Taliban. In fact, Munawwar Rana recently made an objectionable statement. Talking to a channel, he had said that the Taliban are as many terrorists as Valmiki who wrote the Ramayana. He was questioned whether the Taliban was a terrorist organization or not. Munawwar Rana had replied that if Valmiki writes the Ramayana, he becomes a deity. Before that, he was a robber. He said the character keeps changing. However, the Yogi government has already registered a case against him in the case. An FIR has been registered against him at Hazratganj Kotwali. The complaint was lodged by Pl Bharti, Vice Chairman, Social Concern Foundation. Now Rana's troubles have increased as the Shivraj government is also showing sharpness against him. The government is in the process of taking action to target Rana in the case registered.
