Jaipur: In a tragic incident late Saturday night, a collision between a car and a speeding truck in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district resulted in the loss of at least nine lives, while another individual sustained severe injuries. The victims, all occupants of a Maruti Van, were returning from a wedding in Madhya Pradesh when the accident occurred near Aklera on NH 52. According to Jhalawar Superintendent of Police, Richa Tomar, the driver of the truck has been arrested in connection with the accident. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death, while the injured person is receiving medical treatment.
