Dia Mirza got a break from this film

In the 2001 film 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein', Dia Mirza made a special place in the hearts of the people with her innocent face and excellent acting. After 23 years, this film is going to be released in theaters again on 30 August 2024.

Dia Mirza had to face the brunt of the film's failure 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' was her debut film in Bollywood, but after its failure she had to face many difficulties. Talking to Times of India in a recent interview, Dia told that after the film flopped, she was removed from many films. Dia said, "We were all devastated! I remember I was removed from many projects."

However, the film received immense love from the audience after it was aired on television and it slowly became a cult film. "The film got a cult status because of the love it got from the audience. This helped me understand that for a film that really connects with people, box office success doesn't matter as much. It's a gift that keeps growing with time," Dia said.

Experience of working with R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan In the interview, Dia Mirza also talked about her experience of working with her co-stars R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan in the film. She said, "Maddy (R Madhavan) had already done the Tamil version of this film 'Minnale' in the South, so he knew his character very well. He was like a guru on the set, who used to guide us and always behaved like a gentleman. Today there is a strong bond between both of us. Saif Ali Khan always kept making me laugh and I loved spending time with him. He made me comfortable instantly with his frankness and humor."

The film was released in 2001 and is now releasing again on 30 August 2024. The film was a remake of Menon's Tamil film 'Minnale', starring R Madhavan in the lead role. In the film, Madhavan played the role of 'Maddy', Dia Mirza played the role of 'Reena Malhotra', and Saif Ali Khan played the role of 'Sam'.
