Shamli: The BJP's firebrand leader Sadhvi Prachi has come out in support of TMC MP Nusrat. Sadhvi Prachi has slammed the Muslim fatwa issued by TMC MP Nusrat Jahan on wearing Mangal Sutra. Sadhvi Prachi has said that if Muslim women marry a Hindu and then wear a bindi-Mangal Sutra, these Muslim clerics call it haraam, but if a Muslim marries a Hindu girl after love jihad and wears a burqa, it is not haraam, it becomes justified. Sadhvi Prachi has said that if the Muslim clerics were to issue fatwas, three would have supported the divorce, but they did not. Rather, he has issued a fatwa against Nusrat Jahan as to why she wore the Mangal Sutra. Sadhvi Prachi said in a very strong tone that if the cleric did not improve now, I think it would at some time make the whole of Islam a haraam. It is worth mentioning here that when TMC MP Nusrat arrived in Parliament on Tuesday to be sworn in, she appeared in a traditional manner during the session. Nusrat wore vermilion, mehndi and bangle in her hands on demand. The same photo of her went viral on social media, after which Deobandi Ulema had issued a fatwa against Nusrat Jahan, objecting to it. Deobandi Ulema objected to marrying a Hindu boy elected TMC MP from Baisrahat Lok Sabha seat in Bengal and then wearing Mangal Sutra. The Islamic educational institution in Saharanpur, Darul Uloom Deoband has issued a fatwa on the wearing of the Mangal Sutra in Nusrat. Nusrat Jahan recently married Kolkata businessman Nikhil Jain. After the wedding, when MP Nusrat, who had come to parliament to take an oath, was seen in traditional Hindu costumes, which some of the extremists passed Nagwar.
