New Delhi: Crime cases are increasing day by day in the country's capital Delhi. In the latest case, a 35-year-old man was allegedly strangulated to death in central Delhi's Kamla Market area on Wednesday( December 21). Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said that the police received information from LNJP Hospital that Mohammad Nadeem, a resident of the Jama Masjid area here, has been brought dead. Where this incident took place, the crime and FSL team also inspected the spot. A post-mortem has been conducted and it is suspected that Nadeem was strangulated to death, police said. A case has been registered under Section 302 (murder) at Kamla Market police station. During the examination of footage from CCTV cameras, the police found an unidentified person boarding the auto-rickshaw in which Nadeem was already sitting. Police said the unidentified man was seen getting down from the same rickshaw again at 11.31 pm. He said the mobile of the deceased Nadeem was missing and it is suspected that Nadeem was killed during the robbery.
